[25 Jul, 7:00 PM EET] The X posting issue has now been resolved. Thank you for your patience while we worked through the changes required by X's updated API.
X recently made significant changes to its API pricing, making X publishing significantly more expensive across the board. Some operations, such as publishing link posts, became many times more expensive. This forced us to make a difficult decision: either discontinue X support or redesign how X posting works in Hookle. We chose the latter.
As part of these changes, X posting now requires a Multi subscription. In addition, X link posts are currently limited to 3 per month, while text and image posts remain unlimited. If you're on a legacy plan (such as Premium or AppSumo), you can continue using X posting under the same terms as the Multi plan.
We are truly sorry this took much longer than expected. Thank you for sticking with us and for your understanding throughout this process.
[14 Jul, 9:00 AM EET] We have now released the new app version and are continuing to fine-tune the X-related changes. While the issue has improved, X posting is still not working properly for all users, and we are actively working on it. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. Stay tuned for further updates.
[5 Jul, 6:00 PM EET] We are still working on the upcoming app update that will resolve the X posting issue. In the meantime, please use the native X app to publish your X posts. Also, please avoid retrying failed X posts, as they are unlikely to succeed until the update is released. Thank you for your continued patience.
[29 Jun, 6:00 AM EET] We will soon release a major app update that not only addresses the X issue but also introduces several new features we've been working on for some time. Because this release includes significant improvements under the hood as well as new functionality, extensive testing is required to ensure everything works reliably. We will post another update here as soon as the new version is available. Thank you for your patience.
[26 Jun, 8:00 AM EET] We have identified the root cause of the issue. As the fix is more complex than initially expected, we are carefully evaluating the best solution to ensure it is resolved properly. This means it may take a little longer to implement. We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated as we make progress.
[24 Jun, 6:00 AM EET] We are currently investigating an issue with X (Twitter) posting that is causing posts to fail for many users. No other platforms are affected. Please avoid retrying failed X posts for now, as retries are unlikely to succeed until the issue is resolved.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and will share an update as soon as it is fixed.
