How do I connect LinkedIn to Hookle?

You can connect your LinkedIn profiles or any type of LinkedIn pages to Hookle. If your business doesn't have a LinkedIn Page yet, see how to create a LinkedIn Page for your organization.

Connect LinkedIn to Hookle

Open Hookle and navigate to Settings → Social Accounts → Add Account. Alternatively, you can click the blue floating button at the bottom right of this view to add an account.

Select LinkedIn and log in to your personal LinkedIn account (which must be an admin of your LinkedIn Page). Grant the necessary permissions when prompted, then choose page(s) and the personal profile you want to connect to Hookle.

LinkedIn has now been added successfully.

Connect multiple LinkedIn (or check the used LinkedIn)

You can manage multiple LinkedIn profiles and Pages in Hookle, so you don’t need to disconnect existing accounts to add new ones.

If you use more than one LinkedIn profile (for example, for different brands), you may sometimes need to switch the active LinkedIn login during the connection. This happens because the in-app browser used for connecting keeps only the most recent LinkedIn login.

How to switch the LinkedIn account used for connecting:

1. In Hookle, go to Settings → Social Accounts → Add Account. This opens the Connect view.
2. Tap the three dots (⋮) next to the LinkedIn and choose Check or Change LinkedIn Account. This opens LinkedIn in an in-app browser.
3. In the in-app browser, sign out of the current LinkedIn account - open LinkedIn settings and sign out. If the settings link opens the LinkedIn app instead, open the browser menu (⋮) and select Desktop site. Then tap your profile picture (top right) and sign out.
4. If you still can’t sign out, you may also need to sign out of the LinkedIn app on your device. After that, start again from step 1.
5. Return to Hookle and connect using the LinkedIn account you want.

Some limitations

• Posts published directly to LinkedIn personal accounts through the LinkedIn application, as well as statistics for your personal posts, are not available via Hookle.
